Three Of Fifty-Eight

I'll be honest, this much boho + jersey made me feel more than a hint of mutton if you catch my drift. I'm turning 35 this year and it's got me thinking a lot about what the next ten years will look like. Professionally, spiritually, emotionally, and sartorially (since this is a style blog, we'll keep it to fashion-talk only). I remember Stacy and/or Clinton from What Not To Wear asking one of their victims why she would want to compete with the 18-year-olds, since those 18-year-olds were going to win every single time. This was several years ago and it always stuck with me. Why not be the woman in her 30s that younger women hope they look like at that age?

I'm 28 and it is so awesome to see women in their 30s, 40s, 50s who are still looking fabulous and don't look like they are trying to dress younger. In 7 years, I hope I look as good as you do!

I think it's possibly to maintain your style as you age as log as you modify it a bit. I guess it also depends on your lifestyle, I follow some style blogs of women in their (I'm assuming) late 30s who live in California and have a very boho look - it looks appropriate because it fits their lifestyle. Or maybe I'm just saying that because I don't want to change my own style. Lol.

Like this outfit :)

Boho forever! Seriously. I just think I need to stick to luxe-er fabrics all that stretchy fabric seemed too young. But I'm definitely planning on being the old lady wearing a caftan and a million turquoise rings. :)
