My five year old is an enthusiastic picture taker. She barks out orders while smiling at the screen. I have no idea where she got this from. I mostly try to take photos unobtrusively and then join back in the fun and Andrew is a picture ninja - you don't even know he took any until you're going back through them.

 



5-year-old: "Both of you sit on the table. Mommy! Are you chewing gum?"
3-year-old: "Are you chewing gum?"
Me: "No, I'm not chewing gum."
3-year-old: "Let me see."
Me: "Aaaaaaaah."

5-year-old: "Mommy. Take a photo by yourself. No funny faces."
Me: "OK."
5-year-old: "NO FUNNY FACES."
Me: "I didn't think I was!"

5-year-old: "OK. Take a picture with me. NO FUNNY FACES."
Me: "Geez. Alright, normal face!"

5-year-old: "Against the fence! Funny faces!"
Me: "Finally!"

Lately I've been trying to mix modern/minimalism and boho elements. I've always loved both styles but usually ping-ponged from one to the other. Blending seems to make more sense and so far I'm digging the results.
